SERIOUSLY??!Yes.....this really happened and yes.. there are people out there giving birth to children that are ignorant enough to do things like this. What started out as a simple traffic stop for an improper turn in Aurora Colorado, ended up being a facebook post on what NOT to do while driving with a baby and gas can in the car. This is wrong on so manhy levels i dont even know where to start!!
Ok... how about this.. what the HELL was she thinking first off by putting the gas can in the back seat with her child right next to it?!! Can you imagine the headache that poor kid had?? It doesnt take much at all..next thing you know you got a headache that lasts for like an hour! It has to be worse for a child...nausea maybe??
Oh but she finds a way to top that off alright....... she goes out of her way to make sure that gas can is safely secured in the babies carseat so nothing will happen to it...... NICE!! Judging from the photo it was pretty hot outside that day.... the kid has no clothes on...just a diaper, and the windows are rolled down.... so the fumes are most likely twice as bad!!
Wow...this lady is two kinds of special. For all of you thinking this is staged.... unfortunately it is not. Someone was really stupid not to mention careless enough to actually do this. The Department of Colorado Transportation posted the picture on their facebook wall in hopes they could spread the word on how precious life is and to take extra care in making sure your children are properly secured in the seats before driving anywhere.
The bad part is, it sounds like she only got a ticket for the improper turn.... she should have been written a ticket for not having the child in the carseat and one extra hefty fine for being the biggest ASS of a mother in the U.S. Just my opinion..... lemme know what you think!!
